President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni officially commissioned the Kampala Flyover Project this afternoon at the Clock Tower in the capital.
The project, aimed at easing congestion and improving urban mobility, is a key infrastructure development in the city.
The President was accompanied by Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Nabbanja Robinah, Minister of State for Transport Hon. Fred Byamukama, Minister of State for Finance Hon. Henry Musasizi, and Inspector General of Government (IGG) Betty Kamya.

Speaking at the event, President Museveni emphasized the government’s commitment to improving Uganda’s road network, highlighting the importance of infrastructure in driving economic growth.
The Kampala Flyover Project, constructed with support from Japan, is expected to reduce traffic congestion in the city’s busiest areas and improve connectivity.
