Donald Trump has 295 of the 270 electoral votes and has won the White House .
He becomes the 47th President of the United States after he won polls in Key states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia which decided the winner of the US presidential election.
He won in Nevada,and in the other sun belt battleground of Arizona.
Republicans have also won the majority in the US Senate, after flipping Senate seats in West Virginia and Ohio.
The results move the Senate to a 51-49 split in favour of the Republicans.
Winning the Senate gives the party greater leverage to enact its agenda.
