KCB Bank Uganda has renewed its partnership with the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU), confirming sponsorship for the upcoming Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Rally scheduled for October 9–11 in Gulu.
The bank has been a key supporter of the 2025 National Rally Championship, backing major events including the Pearl of Africa Rally, the Bugerere Stabex EMC Rally in Jinja, and the Fort Portal Rally.
“This sponsorship is about creating impact—supporting young drivers, boosting tourism, and inspiring the next generation,” said Sheila Awori, Acting Head of Communication and Marketing at KCB Bank. “We are proud to be part of Uganda’s motorsport growth story.”
FMU General Secretary Reynolds Kibira praised the bank’s contribution and stressed the need for vigilance. “We are grateful for partners like KCB Bank. As we head to Gulu, safety must be paramount for drivers, fans, and officials,” he said.
The Rajiv Ruparelia Memorial Rally is expected to attract thousands of spectators while honoring the late rally icon and promoting Uganda’s motorsport profile.
