President Yoweri Museveni has concluded his nationwide tour promoting the Parish Development Model (PDM), wrapping up his final rally at Kololo Independence Grounds.
During his travels, the President engaged with thousands of Ugandans, praising them as “disciples of the NRM’s wealth creation agenda,” including notable beneficiaries like Ijala in Serere District.
In his closing remarks, Museveni likened the PDM message to a gospel, emphasizing its transformative potential.
“Though I wasn’t present during Jesus’ time, his teachings have guided generations. Similarly, the PDM principles, if followed, will lead Uganda to prosperity,” he said. He urged beneficiaries to become role models in driving the country toward a money-driven economy and socio-economic transformation.

The President reaffirmed the government’s ambitious target of growing Uganda’s economy to $500 billion, stressing that household income and wealth creation remain the NRM’s top priority. “Focus on these, and everything else will follow,” he stated.
To ensure inclusivity, Museveni announced plans to establish a special fund for urban residents and increase overall PDM funding, ensuring no one is left behind in the economic revolution.
He thanked Ugandans for their support and urged them to embrace the PDM for sustainable development. “I wish you all good luck as we work together to build a prosperous Uganda,” he concluded.
The PDM initiative, a flagship program of the NRM government, aims to lift millions out of poverty by empowering households through financial inclusion and agricultural modernization.
