SINOTRUK, one of the world’s leading heavy truck manufacturers and a key partner of Uganda’s Double Q, has reaffirmed its global growth ambitions and commitment to innovation during its 2025 Global Partners Conference held in Qingdao, China.
The event gathered over 620 partners from 97 countries and regions to strengthen cooperation and chart new strategies for sustainable expansion.
Uganda’s Double Q, represented by Managing Director Bruce Lin Yu and Sales Director Jack Wang, received the Notable Contribution Award in recognition of its outstanding performance in the Ugandan market.
“We owe this award to our customers,” said Yu. “Their trust and loyalty have driven our success, and we remain dedicated to delivering top-quality products and unmatched service.”

SINOTRUK’s strong performance is indicative of the optimism surrounding its global operations. From January to September 2025, the company recorded total vehicle sales of 335,000 units, marking a 22.8% year-on-year increase.
Heavy truck exports surged by 24.5% to 111,000 units, supported by robust demand across Africa, Asia, and emerging markets.
The firm’s diversification strategy is also gaining momentum, with notable growth in new energy vehicles, light truck exports, mining trucks, and aftermarket parts.
In his keynote address, Chairman Liu Zhengtao outlined SINOTRUK’s five strategic pillars for continued transformation: Sustainability, Digital Intelligence, Service Excellence, Global Expansion, and Business Diversification.
He emphasized the company’s commitment to advancing smart mobility solutions and collaborating closely with global partners to deliver superior, environmentally conscious products.
For Double Q, the partnership signifies a strategic foothold in East Africa’s growing logistics and construction sectors. The company plans to leverage SINOTRUK’s innovations to expand its customer base in Uganda and the broader regional market.
