The Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota has been killed in a car crash in Spain, according to reports in Spanish newspaper Marca.
The forward, 28, was in a Lamborghini supercar in Spain with his brother Andre, 26, in the early hours on Thursday when their car burst into flames, Spanish police said.
Both men were killed in the incident in the north-west of the country after the car left the road when one of their tyres burst while overtaking.
Jota, a Portugal international, married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso on June 22. She survives him alongside their three children.

Paying tribute, Pedro Proenca, head of the Portuguese Football Federation, said the footballer was “an extraordinary person” who had “contagious joy”.
“The Portuguese Football Federation and the entire Portuguese football community are devastated by the deaths of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva in Spain this morning,” it said in a statement.
“Diogo Jota was not only a fantastic player with almost 50 caps for the national team, but also an extraordinary person who was respected by all his teammates and opponents. He had a contagious joy and was a reference point in his own community.”
Jota was due to return to Liverpool for pre-season training next month.
